VALENCIAN FOLKLORE AND TRADITIONS

ACTIVITIES AT OUR SCHOOL

We asked our students to make presentations about traditional valencian folklore, our traditions. Students did several presentations including traditional clothes, traditional festivities such as “Falles” or “Els porrats”, traditional valencian instruments and music and son on.

To do the presentations, students, with the help of their teachers, searched the web or asked their relatives. In addition to that, they already know a lot of things about our traditions that shared with other students. We have to take into account that we have a lot of immigrant students and valencian students taught them a lot of things about our traditions.

The presentations are made mainly in PowerPoint but there are other formats (word documents, etc.).

Once students finished the presentations, they put them in our Project corner for the following week. The aim was that the rest of students in our High School could see that tasks.
